About Me

I am a fully qualified and insured Holistic Massage therapist, trained at BCMB in 2016 and registered with the Massage Training Institute (MTI).

I hold a level 3 diploma in Indian Head Massage, a level 4 diploma in Holistic Massage and a level 4 diploma in Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology. I am dedicated to developing my skills by participating in regular CPD courses and professional supervision. 

I was drawn to massage while I was caring for my mum at the end of her life. She had regular massages from the hospice and I was blown away by the difference this made to her both physically and emotionally. The hospice massage therapist also gave me massages which really helped me to cope with my caring responsibilities and with processing my grief.  


I am particularly drawn to working with people who are experiencing loss or processing grief. I am fascinated by the ways our bodies hold on to unprocessed emotion and the patterns of physical pain that can be associated with trauma and grief.

I am also drawn to working with stress and anxiety. Almost everyone in our society is affected by stress and despite the impact on our health we have normalised it. With an understanding of how the nervous system works massage can be a great tool for managing stress and reducing the impact of a busy lifestyle on our health. 

Through practising holistic massage I have been amazed at the seemingly magical effect a caring touch has on the state of the body. It seems to me that in a massage session my client’s bodies physically soften as they let go of the stresses and pressure of everyday life.
